Brivis Evaporative Cooler Parts Guide: Contour, Profiler and Promina Parts Explained

Find your Brivis model first

Brivis models are shown on the cooler’s compliance label, for example Contour L41, Profiler P63 or AD45. Filter pads in particular are matched to model ranges, and some parts changed between generations, so note the model and any part number on the old part before ordering.

Water system parts

Brivis cooler pump

Dry pads and warm air usually mean a pump or water supply problem. Many Brivis coolers use the Askoll pump (B017245), which sits in the Askoll pump base (B008961). See Brivis cooler pumps and our evaporative cooler pump guide.

Solenoid valves, float valve and water sensors

Brivis coolers take water in through a 240V solenoid valve: the 3/4″ solenoid valve (B0081140) or the Elbi barbed solenoid valve (81019245). Models with a mechanical float use the Philmac float valve (B000414), while electronic models use water sensors such as the Contour water level sensor (B018066) and the Contour L0 water sensor (B015571). Snorkel drain system

Many Brivis coolers drain the tank through a snorkel assembly moved by a damper motor. If the tank won’t drain or won’t hold water, check the damper motor assembly (B023973) and the snorkel, such as the Contour L1 snorkel (B018062), Contour L0 snorkel (B015888) or BA-F snorkel (B019431).

Brivis Contour pads and filter pads

Brivis pads are sold in packs of four matched to model ranges, for example Contour L41-L45, Contour L31-L36 / P43-P46, Contour L21-L26 / P23-P36, Profiler/Promina P63-P76 and AD11 to AD36. Motors and fan parts

If airflow is weak, noisy or has stopped, the motor, fan or a related part may need replacing. Control boxes and wall controllers

Brivis control boxes include the N-E6 main control box with switch, the N-E6 control box without switch, the N-E1 control box and the TEK467 control box, plus the 516 network module and 526 add-on module. Quick fault finder

• Warm air, dry pads: Askoll pump, solenoid, float valve or water sensor.

Safety first

Brivis coolers are usually installed on the roof and wired to 240V. Replacing motors, pumps, solenoids and control boxes should be done by a qualified technician or licensed electrician, with the power isolated first.
