About CoolBreeze evaporative cooler capacitors
A motor capacitor gives the CoolBreeze cooler fan motor the boost it needs to start and helps it run smoothly. When a capacitor fails, the motor may hum without starting, start slowly, run hot or only work on some fan speeds.
Always match the microfarad (µF) value and voltage printed on the old capacitor. If a new capacitor doesn't fix the problem, the motor itself may need replacing.
