Genuine CoolBreeze solenoid valves for CoolBreeze evaporative coolers. The solenoid controls the water supply into the cooler: when it fails the tank won’t fill, and when it sticks open the cooler can overflow.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use a 24V solenoid instead of a 12V one?
No. The solenoid must match the voltage your cooler’s control system supplies. Check the rating printed on the old valve.
Why is my CoolBreeze cooler overflowing?
A solenoid valve stuck open or a float valve that no longer closes are the most common causes. Check both before replacing parts.
Why is my evaporative cooler not filling with water?
Check the water supply tap and inlet first, then the solenoid valve and float valve. A drain valve stuck open can also stop the tank filling. See the float valve and solenoid guide.

About CoolBreeze evaporative cooler solenoid valves
Our range includes the SP2640 solenoid valve, the SP2031 solenoid valve, the SP2075 / SP2135 solenoid valve and the SP2134 solenoid valve kit. CoolBreeze used different valves over the years, so match the part number on your old valve, or its fittings and voltage, to the product page.
If the tank fills but won't stop, check the CoolBreeze float; if water won't drain, see CoolBreeze dump and drain valves. Contact us with your model number if you're unsure which valve you need.
