About this part

The solenoid valve controls water in your evaporative cooler: when the cooler’s control switches it on or off, it opens or closes to fill or drain the water in the tank. A sticking or failed solenoid is a common cause of a cooler that won’t fill, overflows, or won’t drain at the end of the day.
