Find your model and part number

Check the compliance label on the cooler for the model, and look for a part number on the old part (CoolBreeze part numbers usually start with SP, such as SP2380 or SP2640). If you can’t find either, a photo of the old part helps us identify it.

Water system parts

CoolBreeze pump

A cooler that blows warm air with dry pads often has a failed pump. The CoolBreeze Super Pump (SP2380) is listed as a replacement for the older Fasco SP2127 pump. See CoolBreeze pumps and our evaporative cooler pump guide.

CoolBreeze solenoid valves

The solenoid valve lets water into the tank. CoolBreeze used several valves over the years, including the SP2640, SP2031, SP2075 / SP2135 and the SP2134 solenoid valve kit. Match the part number, fittings and voltage of your old valve. See CoolBreeze solenoid valves.

Float valves and magnetic floats

Some CoolBreeze coolers use a mechanical float valve such as the Fluidmaster 747 (SP2027), while others use a magnetic float (SP2200) with a float switch such as the SP2210 or SP2212 to tell the controller the water level. See CoolBreeze floats and our float valve and solenoid guide.

Drain and dump valves

If the tank won’t hold water or won’t drain, check the drain valve. Options include the counterweight drain valve kit (SP2040), which suits CoolBreeze units from roughly 2001 to 2012, and the hydraulic dump valve (SP2064). See CoolBreeze dump and drain valves.

Motors, capacitors and fan collets

Weak or no airflow, humming or a fan that won’t start can point to the motor or its capacitor. Safety first

CoolBreeze coolers are usually roof-mounted and connected to 240V power. Replacing motors, capacitors, pumps, solenoids and control boards should be done by a qualified technician or licensed electrician, with the power isolated first. Capacitors can hold a charge even after the power is off.
