Breezair EV/EZ Tapered Evaporative Cooler Filter Pads – Set of 3 – #114576

A set of three 90mm cellulose filter pads (Seeley part number 114576): two tapered side pads and one front pad. Breezair coolers with a sloped “Z” style cabinet (EV, EZ, EZD, EZH and EZQ) use seven pads in total: four standard pads plus this set of three. This set does not include the four standard pads.

Which 4-pad set do I need with it?

• EV130, EV160, EZ130, EZ160, EZD155, EZD175, EZH175, EZQ155 and EZQ175: the medium 4-pad set, Seeley 114620.
• EV195, EV215, EZ195 and EZ215: the large 4-pad set, Seeley 114613.
• EZH215 and EZQ215: Seeley lists the large set (114613). Models built from 2016 need two 100mm pads on the scroll-opening sides, which come in Seeley 114583. Check your old pads before ordering.

Pins and washers

Pad pins and washers are not included. If your old ones are brittle or missing, add a 16-piece pins and washer set (or the 8-piece set).

When to replace your pads

Replace the pads when they are crumbling, heavily scaled, smell musty or no longer soak up water evenly. Worn pads cut cooling and can let water blow into the ducts. Our evaporative cooler pads guide explains what to look for.

Fitting tip: turn off the power at the isolation switch and turn off the water before you start. Fit the new pads the same way round as the old ones. Work on the roof should be done safely, or by a qualified technician.
